COFFEE & MENU - Great Drinks | Beautifully Served
Standard offering of espresso drinks with a few specials that ranged from a Berry Birthday latte to a sparking spirulina infused lemonade refresher
They offered Oat, Soy, Macadamia, or Coconut for alternative milks
There is a small selection of pastries with gluten free and vegan options as well as a fridge with chilled kombuchas , juice and yogurts
What we ordered: Americano with steamed soy milk & Whole Milk Cortado with a raspberry tart
We LOVED the cups both drinks were served in. Both drinks were very well executed - nicely balanced and very hot. We also really enjoyed the little raspberry tart that wasn’t too sweet and had a sugar cookie like crust.
ATMOSPHERE & SERVICE - Dog Friendly | Fun Atmosphere
Fetch is a coffee shop for dog lovers - while you can’t bring them inside because of local ordinances, the shop has very thoughtful touches to encourage and accommodate bringing your furry friend along
There are water bowls at the entrance, free dog treats provided by Sellwood Pet Supply, and the ability to order via QR code and have your coffee delivered to your table so you don’t have to leave your dog alone
They have coffee beans for sale with adorable dog themed packaging, fun names for each of the varieties, and $1 from each bag sold is donated to dogs in need (as of Oct’24 over $28K has been donated)
The space has a warm modern vibe with high exposed ceilings painted black, white walls, concrete floors, with pops of color coming from bright yellow couches and lots of green plants scattered around. For seating, there are tables places around the outside perimeter and lots of low and high tables inside in addition to a collection of couches and chairs when you first walk in.
The service was a little slow - which may or may not have been impacted by their offering of to go orders/serving orders entered on the QR codes from people seated outside in addition to the people waiting in line indoors.
The Americano came in an earthy green ceramic mug with a glazed top half while the Cortado was in a beautiful small blue geometric glass.
RATING & CONCLUSIONS - Great Concept Well Executed | rating 4*
The coffee alone was fantastic but pair that with the dog friendly hospitality and philanthropy component and we’ve found a spot that we will continue to support.
Even if you aren’t a dog lover, we highly recommend a visit for high quality coffee in a cute modern coffee shop.
