Standard offering of espresso and tea drinks with a few seasonal specials - using Proud Mary coffee beans
They offered Oat, and Almond for alternative milks as well as some house made syrups for flavoring
They have a selection of food options - from toasts with whipped feta and strawberries to granola and berries
What we ordered: Americano with steamed almond milk & Sir Newton - latte with homemade fig syrup
Both drinks were good. The Americano was standard but not particularly smooth or memorable and the fig latte was beautiful and tasty for a festive seasonal drink but leaned a little sweet. We enjoyed the dried fig served on top of the mug.
ATMOSPHERE & SERVICE - Multi Purpose | Cafe Vibe
The cafe is open from morning to evening to serve as a neighborhood spot for people to enjoy coffees and snacks throughout the day and drinks in the evening
The space is feminine with a unique layout with two private tables at the entrance tucked away from the main space which is a large rectangle. There is a long bench with bistro tables along the back wall and opposite of it is the main bar which has some counter seating available.
They have a very curated menu with offerings for anytime of day. Hybrid coffee shop/Wine Bars are becoming more and more popular to try and capture a broader customer base.
RATING & CONCLUSIONS - Okay Drinks + Okay Atmosphere | rating 3*
The coffee was fine - the seasonal latte was definitely the winner of the two and we appreciated the beautiful presentation in a pretty blue mug with a matching saucer.
We found the space inviting but not cozy to stay and hold a conversation. It might have been the close proximity of the tables or how close we were to the counter but we were eyeing the private tables at the entrance which were taken but would make for a much more intimate and comfortable experience.
